If you enjoy playing blackjack and you arelooking for a way to increase your winnings then Frankie Dettori’s Magic SevenBlackjack is the game for you. It plays just like a traditional blackjack game, but features a special side bet that could see you win some huge payouts.
The game allows you to play up to threehands simultaneously and operates exactly as a traditional blackjack game completewith options such as insurance and split. It differs by offering the Magic Seven side bet that gives you thechance to win special payouts of up to 7777x.
How To Play
The aim of the game is to build a hand ofcards that has a value as close to 21 as possible but without exceeding it andgoing bust. If, at the end of a round, your hand is closer to 21 than thedealer’s is then you have won that round.
In Blackjack, Aces are worth 1 or 11, theface cards are all worth 10 and the numbered cards are worth their face values. The best possible hand that you can put together is called Blackjack; it iswhen you form 21 with just two cards, an Ace and a ten card.
The game will allow you to play up to threehands simultaneously. To start a round you need to place your bets in thebetting areas of the hands that you wish to play. At this point, you can alsoplace the Magic Seven side bet. Next, you click on ‘Deal’ to receive the firsttwo cards to each of your hands. Simultaneously, the dealer will receive oneface-up card and one facedown. Then for each of your hands you have the choiceof ‘Hit’, ‘Stand’ and ‘Double’.
If you choose ‘Hit’ then another card willbe drawn to the hand, if you choose ‘Stand’ then the hand will remain as it isand play will move on, if you choose ‘Double’ then your bet will be doubled, you will receive one more card to that hand, and then play will move on. Whenyou have finished playing your hands then the dealer will play his.
Frankie Dettori’s Magic Seven Blackjackpays out at the standard Blackjack rates, 2:1 for all winning hands, exceptBlackjack, which pays at 3:2.
Features and Side Bets
The game offers a number of features thatare standard to Blackjack. If your first two cards in one hand have the samevalue then you can ‘Split’ them and play them as two separate hands. If you seethat the dealer has received a face-up Ace card then you can choose to take outinsurance against him having Blackjack. This will cost you half of youroriginal bet and if the dealer then does have Blackjack, it pays out at 2:1 sothat you break even.
Theoretically, it is possible for you todraw 10 cards without going bust. If this happens, it is called a 10-CardCharlie and it will always win unless the dealer has Blackjack.
The game comes into its own thanks to theMagic Seven side bet. The aim of the bet is to collect trophies. Trophies canappear at random on dealt cards and if you collect two or more trophies from asingle round, or from multiple consecutive rounds, then you will win a payout. Furthermore,if you collect just one trophy, then the Magic Seven side bet will be placedagain in the next round at no extra cost to you. Best of all, you can alsocollect trophies from the dealer’s cards.
If you collect three trophies in a row itpays at 1:1, four trophies pays 7:1, five trophies pays 14:1, six trophies pays24:1, seven trophies pays 70:1, and if you can collect 7 trophies in just tworounds then you will win a massive 7777:1!
