Premium Blackjack is a traditional Blackjack game that offers a first-class multi-hand Blackjack experience together with two side bet games that give you even more chances to win big.
With each hand you can place the Perfect Pair side bet and the 21+3 side bet, bets on the first two cards dealt forming a pair and the first two cards combined with the dealer's card forming a poker hand.
How To Play
As with the majority of Blackjack games, the aim of the game is to build a hand of cards that is closer in value to 21 than the dealer's is but without exceeding it and going bust. It is possible to play up to five hands at once and the game is played with six decks of card.
As usual, the numbered cards are worth their face values, the face cards are all worth 10 and the Aces are worth either 1 or 11. The game takes its name from the most valuable hand, Blackjack, an Ace and a ten card.
To start a round you first need to place chips in the betting areas of each hand that you want to play. You can also place the two side bets at this point. When you are happy with your bets just click on ‘Deal' to receive two face-up cards to each active hand and the dealer will receive one face-up card and one facedown. For each hand you then have a number of options, the main ones are ‘Hit', ‘Stand' and ‘Double'. Selecting ‘Hit' will draw another card to the hand, selecting ‘Stand' leaves the hand as it is and if you select ‘Double' your bet will be doubled, you'll receive one more card and the dealer will then play his round.
At the end of a round winning hands are paid at 2:1 except Blackjack which is paid out at 3:2.
As mentioned there are other options available. If the dealer's face-up card is an Ace then you can take out insurance against him having Blackjack. Insurance costs half of your initial bet and if the dealer goes on to have Blackjack then you are paid out at 2:1. If your two first cards have the same value then you can ‘Split' them into two separate hands. You can then play them as individual hands giving you more opportunities to win.
Finally, it is possible to form a 10-Card Charlie, a hand of ten cards without going bust, if you do this then you will always win as long as the dealer doesn't have Blackjack.
Premium Blackjack offers two side bets. The ‘Perfect Pair' side bet is on the first two cards in a hand forming one of three types of pair. A Perfect Pair is two cards that have the same suit and number and pays out at 25:1, a Coloured Pair is two cards with the same number and colour but different suits (e.g. 4 of Spades and Clubs) and it pays at 12:1, finally, a Red/Black Pair are two cards that have the same value but different suits and colours and it pays out at 6/1.
The 23+1 side bet is on your first two cards and the dealer's first card forming a Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Straight Flush or Suited Three of a Kind. They payout at 5:1, 10:1, 30:1, 40:1 and 100:1 respectively.
