The Best Las Vegas Shows in February 2019

While February may be the shortest month of the year, there is still plenty going on in Las Vegas. The month is packed with all kinds of shows so read on to discover what you can see if you are planning your visit this month.

T-Mobile Arena

February 15th: Kiss

The legendary rock band are promising to retire after their “End of the Road” world tour and theyare stopping in Las Vegas for one night along the way. The tour is taking them across the USA and featuresmany of their top hits like ‘Detroit Rock City’ and ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’.Kiss, featuringthe Starchild, the Demon, the Spaceman and the Catman, first enjoyed success in the height of the glamrock wave in the late 1970s. They are known for putting on fantastic shows including pyrotechnic displays,flaming guitars, floating drum kits, and more. While the band members may be in their late 50s and 60s,there is no sign of them slowing down. Any fans of the group are sure to have a fantastic time at thisconcert, and if it really is their final Vegas show, then it is one that is not to be missed.

February 13th – 25th: The Naked Magicians

If you like magic and are looking for something a bit different then The Naked Magicians at the ParkMGM promises to be a show that you will never forget.

You will no doubt have seen plenty of magic showsfeaturing capes, magic hats, animals appearing from sleeves and so on.

However, you have probably neverseen a magic show put on by two naked men.Mike Tyler and Christopher Wayne will be in Las Vegas for justunder two weeks to astound audiences with their unique show. They perform magic tricks, physical feats,and are guaranteed to make you laugh.

Audience members have to be 21+ and even if you don’t like magic,this show is sure to make an impact.

Caesars Palace

February 8th & 9th: Van Morrison

The British R&B icon and legendary composer, singer and performer is coming to the stage atthe Colosseum  for a few shows this month.

Influenced by musical greats such as Hank Williams, JimmieRodgers, Muddy Waters, and Mahalia Jackson, Morrison has been a travelling musician since the age of13. He has played guitar and sax in numerous bands and rose to fame with his band Them.

Over the yearsMorrison has produced numerous hits, such as ‘Brown Eyed Girl’, ‘Listen to the Lion’, and soon.

His achievements have been widely recognised and he has picked up a number of awards and accoladesincluding a knighthood, an OBE, a Brit award, 6 Grammys, honorary doctorates from two universities, anentrance in to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, the French Ordres Des Artes Et Des Lettres, and more.VanMorrison is still going strong, composing new songs and releasing albums, and his shows never disappoint.He is coming to the end of his time in Vegas so any fans should make sure that they take the opportunityto see him while they can.

February 13th – 21st: Mariah Carey, the iconic pop singer and best selling female artist of all time with over 200 millionrecords sold, will be returning to Las Vegas. In her show “The Butterfly Returns”, Carey will begiving an intimate performance on the Colosseum’s stage, featuring highlights from her extensive catalogueof hits.Carey has had 18 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles (17 of which she wrote herself), more than anyother solo artist. She has won numerous Grammy awards, 21 American Music Awards, the Billboard “Artistof the Decade” award, the World Music Award for “World’s Best Selling Female Artist of the Millennium”,and much more. She is known for her impressive five-octave vocal range and outstanding performances.In recent years, Carey has also entered the world of film with great success. She is a unique artistand the chance to see her live in such an iconic venue should not be missed.

February 22nd & 23rd: Jerry SeinfeldJerry Seinfeld is one of the most iconic stand-up comedians of all time. His career was launched by hisfirst appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in 1981. Then in 1989 he joined forces withcomedian Larry David to start working on what became the most successful comedy series in the historyof television, Seinfeld. The show was on NBC for nine seasons and it won numerous Emmy, Golden Globeand People’s Choice awards. February 8th – 23rd: Chicago - The Band

Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and for many the wait was far too long.It was the band’s first nomination despite the fact that they have been eligible since 1994.

The bandhave been on tour every year since they were formed, without ever missing a year. This year in Vegasfans have the chance to see the original three band members, Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, LeeLoughnane on trumpet and vocals, and James Pankow on trombone. Joining them will be a number of otherlong-term band members in what promises to be a fantastic set of shows.So far, Chicago have sold over40 million units in the US, with 23 gold, 18 platinum and 8 multi-platinum albums. They had five consecutivenumber-one albums on the Billboard 200 and 20 top-ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100.They are wellknown for the sound of their horns, their distinctive vocalists, and of course their many hits. Thiswill be there fifty-second year of touring, without them ever missing a concert date, and they are justas fresh and engaging as ever.February 8th & 9th: Leon LaiLas Vegas is a multicultural city and any speakers of Mandarin and Cantonese are sure to have a greattime at the concerts given by Leon Lai.Leon Lai was one of Hong Kong’s four most popular male singersduring the 1990s, part of the group known as Cantopop’s “Four Heavenly Kings”. Since then he hasgone on to release numerous best-selling records, he has enjoyed an acting career, and he is well knownfor his philanthropy and community work.He is coming to Las Vegas with fresh arrangements of many ofhis most popular songs, some of them with a Broadway theme, the show will be accompanied by state ofthe art audio-visual equipment and set on a high-tech stage open on all sides. February 6th – 23rd: Diana RossDiana Ross is returning to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas for a series of exciting new performancesas part of the performer’s yearlong 75th Birthday Diamond Jubilee celebration. Ross is considered anational treasure and she is widely viewed as one of the greatest performers of all time. She has beeninducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is the recipient of a Grammy Lifetime AchievementAward.Her Vegas show will include a selection of hits from her huge music catalogue that have been selectedspecially for this show. Each evening will be a celebration of song and promises to be an experiencethat fans will never forget.February 27th: Smokey RobinsonThe true spirit of Motown is arriving at Wynn for one night only this month in the form of the legendarySmokey Robinson. As part of The Miracles, Robinson was one of the founders of the iconic music labelwith Berry Gordy Jr., and then went on to produce 26 top-40 hits including “You’ve Really Got a HoldOn Me,” “I Second That Emotion” and “The Tears of a Clown”.Robinson is one of Motown’s mostprolific songwriters and producers and is also behind hits such as “My Guy,” “The Way You Do theThings You Do,” and “Get Ready”. February 6th – 23rd: Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys, the bestselling boy band of all time, are in the final run of their show “BackstreetBoys: Larger Than Life” in Las Vegas.The group, consisting of AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough,Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter, will be at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood from February 6ththrough to April 27th. The residency premiered back in 2017 and since then their sold-out shows haveattracted fans from all over the world and drawn some of the biggest audiences in the history of LasVegas headlining residencies. February 15th: Blue Oyster CultFor more than forty years Blue Oyster Cult have been delighting fans of hard rock across the world withtheir powerful albums that are packed with classic songs. The band, which comes from Long Island, ishighly respected within the hard rock and heavy metal world for its pioneering work. They have a specialplace in rock history thanks to the fact that they are one of the few bands in the genre to achieve mainstreamcritical acclaim and commercial success. Many other famous bands, such as Metallica, regularly cite themas a major influence, and the band was listed in VH1’s countdown of the greatest hard rock bands ofall time.

February 22nd: The Fabulous ThunderbirdsFor more than three decades The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been thought of as a quintessential Americanband. They have a distinct and powerful sound that is influenced by a diverse range of musical styles,and they have produced a number of hits such as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up”. The band is stillfronted by co-founder Kim Wilson, the sole original member, and he ensures that the group stays as freshand enjoyable as ever.

February 22nd & 23rd: Duran Duran

Formed in Birmingham, UK, in 1978, Duran Duran are an English new wave and synth-pop band. The band quicklyrose to fame and four decades later they have sold more than 100 million records, they have had 18 Americanhit singles, 20 UK Top 20 tunes, and they continue to perform in sold out venues around the world.

Theband brings together pop music, art, technology, and fashion in a unique blend that is continually evolvingand remains fresh to this day. The band, singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylorand drummer Roger Taylor, released their last album, Paper Gods, in 2015.
