There is always loads happening in Las Vegas beyond the casino floors. If you get bored of slots, blackjack and roulette then be sure to take a look at the shows. There are concerts of all styles, theatre shows, sporting events, comedians, magicians, acrobats, and far more. It doesn’t matter what your tastes are, there is bound to be plenty that appeals. Here you can find some of July’s highlights, so read through them when planning your trip. 

Park MGMJuly 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th: Aerosmith

[The Legendary Rock Band Announces Las Vegas Residency "AEROSMITH: DEUCES ARE WILD" At Park Theater At Park MGM[/caption]America’s all-time best-selling rock ‘n’ roll band will be continuing their heading residency at the Park MGM this July with four more concerts. Aerosmith began their show Deuces Are Wild in April and it has been a massive success. The shows give you the chance to experience one of the all-time great rock ‘n’ roll bands in one of the most immersive audio and video technology experiences in Las Vegas. In addition to hearing some of the bands greatest hits, the show also features brand new visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions.

The concert takes place on a specially customised stage with flaming wings and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members bring a huge amount of energy to the show. From beginning to end it is an experience that is guaranteed to thrill all fans of the band, and while there are many more opportunities to see them in Vegas this year, there is a great deal of demand for tickets, so be sure to book yours as soon as you can.

July 19th: Beck, Cage The Elephant & Spoon

Beck, Cage The Elephant & SpoonThe alt-rock icon Beck is coming to Vegas for one night this July together with Cage The Elephant and special guest Spoon. Since the release of Mellow Gold in 1994, Beck has been going from success to success, and made a massive return in 2014 with Morning Phase, a companion album to 2002’s Sea Change.Cage the Elephant is a powerhouse rock and roll band from Bowling Green, Kentucky and they combine blues, classic rock, and funk in their music to produce a hugely enjoyable sound. Since forming in 2006 they have released a number of hit albums and singles and their album Thank You, Happy Birthday reached no.

2 in the Billboard 200 chart with singles Shake Me Down and Around My Head. They have supported some major bands over the year, and always put on a memorable show.Special guest Spoon was formed in Austin in 1993 by Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno, they have now been together for close to thirty years during which they have released numerous albums. They first achieved real success with the album Girls Can Tell in 2001 and that has been followed by hits such as 2005's Gimme Fiction and 2007's Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.The combination of these three bands in one evening makes this an event not to be missed. July 20th: Why Don’t We

Since forming in 2016, Why Don’t We have achieved great things. In just a few years they have built a huge fan base while constantly releasing new music, engaging in social media and going on numerous cross-country tours. Their debut album, 8 Letters, merged pop, R&B, hip-hop, and even Latin influences as they attempted (and succeeded) to “do something original and different and bridge gaps”. Since then they have enjoyed continual success and there concert is sure to be one to remember. Book your tickets today so that you don’t miss out.

July 25th – 31st: Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson Metamorphosis Las Vegas ResidencyThis month Janet Jackson will be continuing her headlining residency Metamorphosis at the Park Theater. The worldwide celebrity, multiple Grammy Award Winner and multi-platinum artist has been delighting audiences over the past months, and the show has received rave reviews.Metamorphosis is based upon the life story of Janet Jackson and takes the audience through her transformation from a nervous young girl to one of the world’s best known performers and singers. Audiences have been transfixed by the incredible visual effects, the dance numbers, and of course, Jackson’s singing of her biggest hits.

The show also features a special 30-year anniversary celebration of Jackson’s revolutionary album Rhythm Nation.The show’s tagline reads, “Fans will follow her path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges faced along her personal journey. She encourages her audiences to find their own light within themselves through her Metamorphosis.”There are not many dates remaining of the residency, with the final shows taking place in August, so be sure to book your tickets as soon as possible so that you aren’t left disappointed.

July 1st – 31st: Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club

Each month Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club delights fans of stand-up comedy. The club, run by the man who played Robert in Everybody Loves Raymond, hosts a wide range of talents and every show there is a delight.Garrett does of course perform at the club, but each month he invites different performers to take to the stage. This month you can see Shuli Egar, Kathleen Dunbar, Rondell Sheridan, Andy Hendrickson, Bob Zany, Francsico Ramos, Greg Morton, Jason Collings, Happy Cole and Josh Sneed.If you are interested in seeing Garrett then there are plenty of opportunities throughout July. He will be there on July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. If you are a comedy fan then the club is a must visit in Las Vegas, so make sure that you get tickets for your favourite comedians today.

July 13th: Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman - The Man, The Music, The ShowHugh Jackman, one of the most famous entertainers in the world, will be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for one night in July as part of his world arena tour, “The Man. The Music. The Show.” He will be performing songs from hit musicals such as Oklahoma!, The Boy From Oz, Les Miserables, The Greatest Showman and more.While Jackman may be best known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men films, he has had huge success as a musical theatre performer. July 20th: WBA Welterweight Championship: Manny Pacquiao vs. Keith Thurman

Manny Pacquiao vs. Keith ThurmanBoxing’s only eight-division world champion, Philippine Senator and regular WBA welterweight champion Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao is coming to Vegas to face the undefeated Super WBA Welterweight Champion Keith “One Time” Thurman in a powerhouse 147-pound showdown this July at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.Thurman, with his tremendous speed, power and boxing skills, is one of the most dangerous challengers that Pacquiao has faced in his recent fights. The high stakes match is sure to be hugely exciting and the winner will claim the top spot in one of boxing’s deepest and most talented divisions.

July 1st – 31st: Michael Jackson One by Cirque Du Soleil

July 2nd, 5th, 21st, 23rd, and 30th: Las Vegas Aces Home Games

The 2019 season is well underway and sports fans will not want to miss the chance of some live action while they are in Vegas. This July the Las Vegas Aces will face teams such as Chicago Sky, Washington Mystics, Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm and Dallas Wings. The WNBA All Star 2019 will then be taking place on July 27th, and it is sure to be a thrilling climax. Even if you are not much of a basketball fan, the atmosphere at these games is one that you don’t want to miss.

July 6th: Pentatonix

Pentatonix BandSince they arrived on the scene in 2011, the Pentatonix have become multi-platinum selling artists with 3.5 million albums sold in the US alone. July 19th: Brian McKnight

This will be his first time at the Encore Theater and it is sure to be an evening to remember.McKnight is known to be an exceptionally talented composer and recording artist who plays nine instruments.
