The yellow ‘W’ is the wild symbol and it will substitute for all of the other symbols, except for the scatter symbols, to help and form winning combinations.
The multi-coloured gem is the scatter symbol.
As with many cluster pays slots, Mayan Blocks features collapsing reels. This means that every time that a winning cluster lands on the reels, the symbols are removed and more fall from above to replace them. If a new winning cluster is formed then the process repeats itself. Better yet, each successive reel collapse increases the win payout multiplier by x1 and it only resets when no more new winning clusters are formed.
To help players form more winning clusters, mega symbols can land on the reels. They are 2x2 or 3x3 big and count as the equivalent of 4 or 9 adjacent symbols.
When the reels stop collapsing, the mystery random wilds feature may trigger. A number of wilds are added to random positions on the reels to help and form more wins and keep the collapses going.
If you land four of the gem scatter symbols on the grid then you win eight free spins. During the free spins, each bonus symbol that lands will award another free spin. Better yet, during the free spins, the payout multiplier is not reset in between spins. Best of all, on your final free spin the multiplier boost spin feature is active. It awards a random multiplier that is applied to your combined wins from the free spins, which can result in a multiplier boost of up to 20x.
There is a top payout of 5000x for landing a cluster of at least 30 high value yellow symbols. The red can payout up to 2000x, the green up to 1500x, and the blue up to 700x. The pink, orange and green lower value symbols can payout up to 500x, while the remaining symbols can payout up to 400x.
